1- Chai ☕️ and Nan Khatai – derived from the Persian word ‘naan’ which means bread, and the word ‘khatai’ which means biscuit. Popular in Pakistan, the texture of the biscuits is similar to shortbread with a buttery melt in the mouth crumbliness.

The joy of making Halwa Poori on a Saturday morning. It’s my favorite Pakistani dish and this is my first one upon returning to Lahore after four years!

Jalebi, also known as zulbia and zalabia, is a sweet made by deep-frying maida flour batter in pretzel or circular shapes, which are then soaked in sugar syrup.

This kind Jalebi maker invited me to take pictures of his process. Awesome. And the Jalebi was delicious, too!
