KOBE, JAPAN IMAGES: SLEEPY LITTLE NADA

ImageImageImageImageImage

Nada is a sleepy little town with a main Museum of Art (what the frog is on top of), plus smaller adjuncts of the museum all around (which is one I attended for the Sadaharu Horio exhibition.)

KOBE, JAPAN: EXHIBITION ~ SADAHARU HORIO “A MATTER OF COURSE – NOW” PT. 3

So, I met Sadaharu Horio today, had my picture taken with him, he signed my ticket, and then I got to document him in the process of his “One-Minute Hitting Method.” This kind of thing NEVER happens, does it?! So lucky that he happened to have stopped by his exhibition today of all days! For more info on this artist’s background:  http://www.axel-vervoordt.com/en/gallery/artists/sadaharu-horio/bio

KOBE, JAPAN: EXHIBITION ~ SADAHARU HORIO “A MATTER OF COURSE – NOW” PT. 1

There is too much to say about this artist, born in 1939 in Kobe and continues to live and work here to this day. Literally. He showed up at the exhibition today! (that will be in Part 3 of this photo series) ~ Here is a link to his biography. Fascinating. http://www.axel-vervoordt.com/en/gallery/artists/sadaharu-horio/bio
