IN PLANE VIEW: LEAVING VANCOUVER FOR THE BRIGHT LIGHTS OF ORLANDO

I’m not complaining. I just want to point out that I travel all over the globe and I promise you that Vancouver’s Immigration line is the longest I’ve ever been in. And oddly enough, there are over 20 booths capable of holding two officers each, yet upon my arrival in early January and then looking down at it as I was departing in February, I never saw more than 5 officers manning the booths.

“It may be important to great thinkers to examine the world, to explain and despise it. But I think it is only important to love the world, not to despise it, not for us to hate each other, but to be able to regard the world and ourselves and all beings with love, admiration and respect.”
Hermann Hesse, Siddhartha
