Ludwig van Beethoven (baptised 17 December 1770 – 26 March 1827) was a German composer and pianist.
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (27 January 1756 – 5 December 1791) was a prolific and influential composer of the Classical period.
José Juventino Policarpo Rosas Cadenas (25 January 1868 – 9 July 1894) was a Mexican composer and violinist.
Adelina Patti (19 February 1843 – 27 September 1919) was an Italian opera singer, earning huge fees at the height of her career in the music capitals of Europe and America in the 19th century. The composer Giuseppe Verdi, writing in 1877, described her as being perhaps the finest singer who had ever lived and a “stupendous artist”.
