Robert Gerard “Bobby” Sands was a member of the Provisional Irish Republican Army who died in 1981 on hunger strike while imprisoned at HM Prison Maze.

This mural is iconic, probably the best known one on both sides of the “Peace Wall.” It appears that famed international street artist, JEF AEROSOL, ‘tagged’ a stencil in the bottom right corner. Awesome.
