If you are still in Kiev and you haven’t checked it out yet: Try “kvass/квасъ” (beverage) and “tscheburek’s’syram/чебурек с сыром” (deep-fried dough with cheese) or blini (pancakes) filled with mushrooms (s’grybami) or apple (s’jablakom)…if I recall it correct there is a small booth in the taras Ševčenko park.
