“The first step – especially for people with energy and drive and talent, but not money – the first step to controlling your world is to control your culture. To model and demonstrate the kind of world you demand to live in. To write the books. Make the music. Shoot the films. Paint the art.” ― Chuck Palahniuk

The sprayed doorbells. Entrances that we use everyday that are covered in graffiti like doors, mailboxes or as you cleary found here–doorbells, are our last dose of big city babble before we enter our own personalities. It’s like the last little reminder that “Hey, we’re all part of living in this city, too and we’ll be here tomorrow.” but then you can shut your mailbox and enjoy a letter that was just for you, or shut the door and fall into your own bed.

That was so beautifully said. May I use that, crediting you…either in another post, or on my Instagram?
Of course! Your photography inspired the thought 🙂
