Also called “Nike of Samothrace.” Greek goddess Nike (Victory.) Estimated to have been sculpted 200-190 B.C. One of the most celebrated sculptures in the world and arguably the greatest masterpiece of Hellenistic sculpture. Discovered in 1863. Representing a battle at sea.
