BEIRUT FOOD & DRINK: URBANISTA

It’s harder than you imagine, to find eggs for breakfast in Gemmayzeh. I stumbled upon Urbanista, read the menu on the window (organic this, organic that) and had to go in. Even though they don’t traditionally serve scrambled eggs on a plain croissant, they prepared it for me at my request. And it was delicious. Classy presentation as well. Sliced apples sprinkled with cinnamon on the side. The vanilla hazelnut cappuccino was delicious, too. I’ve found my new hangout spot in which to write.
