Plenty of places use scrapped containers for a tachinomi bar or sushi restaurant with half a dozen seats, but an entire freight train car? Amazing! This is in the cool little town of Tamatsukuri on the Osaka Loop Line. It’s a very cool design, housing a 7-eleven and other shops below, as well as shops on a second floor. I’m not entirely sure that it’s an old train, but possibly rather, a replica…either way, it is striking when it appears… 😉
