One of the reasons I love trains is that you get to see parts of countries that are ordinarily missed. Images below are of another side of Japan that people rarely see. No pachinko parlors, splashy izakayas, or robots. Just green fields and humble workers:

These pictures are beautiful! I always get frustrated with taking pictures on trains because in most of the pictures, the scenery is either blurred, or blocked by telephone poles and reflection from the window, however these clearly turned out great!
Thank you! The key is to be patient and if you have it, use the continuous setting, so that you can take a few quick clicks together at a time to ensure the chance of getting a good one…
