Southold was established in 1640. Above pictured are Hortons Point Lighthouse, est. 1857, and still active…St. Patrick’s Church…a Union Soldier memorial…and a good ‘ol dose of Americana.

  1. Really nice job on the photos I hope you are enjoying your visit to the east end. In the village of Greenport there is what they call a Camera Obscura (I hope thats how its spelled). This a large lens in a small building that projects a live image of the town onto a white table, really cool place for photography nuts like us.

      1. You were about 10 minutes from Greenport when you were at the Hortons Point Lighthouse. By the way did you go down the long stairs to the beach, LOL ?
