GEORGIA IMAGES (MADISON): AN ANTEBELLUM TOWN

I read that less than 4,000 people live in Madison, GA, the town that is second to Savannah as the best of antebellum towns. This means that most of the homes were around before the American Civil War. Below is the Rogers House and Rose Cottage, circa 1810.

    1. Interesting question. I don’t listen to country music at all, but I’d have to assume if they’re from the South somewhere, then they probably are referring to its history.
