I’ve been following this mural’s creation since the beginning and on Saturday, I finally caught the crew responsible, in action! The crew is Orfanato, an organization for abused and parentless children. ‘Orfanato’ means ‘orphanage.’

Stevo! You’re alive! Yes, I was very stoked to finally see the end result and it was really cool watching them paint it. They didn’t draw anything first, they just created something right there with paint and then stepped away to look at it and then went back at it with the paint. It was all in their minds…amazing.
